France Trip!
Hey! We are going to France! Kristin’s parents are coming and we are going to take a little trip after the baby blessing. So, Sunday we are going to drive through Paris (I know, through Paris! Crazy talk…who drives through paris without stopping) and we are going to stay in Le Mans. That was the last area of my mission. Then, we are driving to Mont St. Michel. It is a huge abbey on a rock that is surrounded by water at high tide. Then we are driving up to Caen. We will see all the beaches of Normandy for WWII. We’ll stay there for a day and then head out to Belgium and the Ardennes forest where the Battle of the Bulge occured. So, all in all it will be pretty cool. I created a map on Google you can see where we are going. The link is:
So, check it out! I’ll let you know how it goes. Sorry no one can be here for Asher’s blessing and I can’t be there for Brooklyn’s and Hallee’s blessings. Oh well, we’ll try to send something nice.
Just found out…. we’ll be going to Mississippi for 6 weeks! I have a course there so we will find a way to get Kristin there and the kdis and they can go see both sets of grandparents! yeah! Anyway, hoep all is well!
Happy Father’s Day
Hey everyone…just wanting to wish you a happy father’s day. I don’t think we are going to do anything really special, just relax. That’s how it should be…relaxing. But, as a dad that doesn’t happen very often. Oh well, we’re the only folks who can do everything so I guess that’s okay…as long as everyone admits it and admires us. That is all I ask…all of you admiration.
Anyway, hope yours is good!
Things here are same old really. Things finally seem to be moving with the yard and construction on the house. The landscaper is ordering grass and that should be here by the end of the week. It is just the roll out kind, but that is okay. In two weeks we should have grass. Also, we should have a fence then too! Will will finally be able to go out! Unsupervised! Won’t that be the day. Also, the construction for the stairs should start tomorrow. I think it might actually happen this time. Wow! Something getting done by Germans. I’ll believe it when I see it.
Asher is doing well. He is growing and getting stronger. He’ll be rolling around before we know it. He’s been sleeping better which is nice. I feel we won’t have droopy eyes for long. Will is very proud of his brother. He always shows him off when others are around.
Well, hope everyone is well. Please feel free to leave remarks, degrogatory or otherwise. Peace and love!
